School holidays over and now back to school again. Homework..homework and homework. Seems the work never ends. Anyway my holiday trip to Taiwan with my family was quite a breeze except that the weather seems to be playing tricks with us. Too hot sometimes and sudden rain and pouring hard too. The 7 days trip end with an additional free day cos no flight back so free hotel stay too.. We went along the coast from Taipei to Chuifen where i bought my magical ocarina to Hua Lien to see the Ami Aboriginal Folk Show and proceed to Taichung and visited the Fo Guang Shan.
Next will be Kaoshiung where my parents made blessings at the Wen Wu Temple and drop by Sun Moon Lake which is the largest lake of Taiwan. Continue journey to Taichung where we visited more night markets and do more shopping. Of course the farm stay was quite an experience and my parents ended up in a 8-beds room where we enjoy the night together for drinks and chats . O.. the Taipei IOI was impressive just like our big Orchard shopping malls and branded goods can be found here. But what we do everyday is normally trying tasty local snacks and drinks and also to mention is the hot spring for relaxing the body and soul...really hot at least 39.2degrees. There's even hotter ones outdoors but the experience is rustic yet refined. Now I can't wait for the next holiday....but nvm hope the photos will keep you interested. Enjoy!!!!
